What's next in 24 does he run for President again or does he run for Cornyn's seat?
Maybe he should go back to El Paso and see if he could win his old seat back on the city council and start over.

Reality maybe? Nah he never could handle it before.

How about 6th grade class president then he can say he held office somewhere.

Where have I ever said Trump was my hero ? I very rarely speak of him. He's a ex president. Liberals like you and CNN will never let him go.

This is just a sample. You are a proud Trump supporter and would vote for him.

Yes, proud I voted for him, would vote for him again if he ran, should he, no. Not sure how you get that he's my hero. He dug his own grave. Yes if he shut his mouth/tweets he would of had a land slide victory but he didnt. Look for more I am sure you find it.

Because he had to cater to the Democratic base. He had to champion ideas that are wildly unpopular among independent voters in Texas. The ideals he ran on during the Presidential campaign vs. when he ran against Cruz were different. Against Cruz, he ran as a much more moderate candidate. That gave the Abbott camp more than ample ammo to use.

Now granted politics is ugly now. Most of the sound clips on the radio attributed to Beto were edited and spliced to show him saying things that he didn't say. But he still said plenty of things when he ran for president that were real that were a turn off to independent voters in Texas.
You are correct, question is, is he really more moderate or is he indeed the leftist that he ran as for POTUS. Could be argued all day long... I believe he is the latter, but worse, ideology aside, I believe he is a pathetic slimy punk who desperately wants to be in power and will say anything depending on his audience to try to get it. Even worser, using dead kids for political points is the lowest.
I do believe you are right he has lost his chance for statewide office. He was the point man for the whole Texas is turning blue charade and now his losses among other things show they were sorely mistaken.
He might think about taking up residence in the bluest of blue districts in the state and run for local office and start over.

I think he's done.

"Pathetic" and "slimy" are terms that apply to Republicans just as much as Democrats.

IMO once he said he'd "take away your AR-15s and AK-47s" he sealed his political fate in Texas. He should probably run for a mayor or county judge type position in a liberal city/county. Or move to a blue state to run for governor.
