I'm wondering if anyone has experience with HEB, HEB brands and HEB home delivery.

We are about to make an order, but before pushing the button are wondering if anyone has positive or negative experience with this supermarket?

Thanks.

HEB - dominant grocery store in much of Texas. People from other places that move here seem to like it more than their grocery store back home. Not always though

As far as the heb brands, some are good and some are ok/not as good.

I’m indifferent about the brands but love the store.

I love HEB store brand coffee, beans, and tomatoes. The store-made Mexican pastries are also very good.

I like their potato chips. Central Market brand (carried at some regular HEBs) can be good - I like their sandwich cookies, and their tortilla chips are decent for bagged.

Their baked potato chips are better for dipping than Lays baked chips. They hold up better. I also really like their bacon.

For some reason, the Brenham HEB quit carrying Blue Ribbon bacon, so I've been buying the store brand, and I agree with you, it's pretty good.
