Well, I do have personal experience (don't have to rely on 'a friend') and use gummies for sleep. There's a huge difference between the two.

Maybe you should experiment with different brands and variants? There are like 10 of them besides delta 8, which is the most common. Try HHC

I have and know what works for me. No need to experiment at this point and don't have problems getting what I need. I find personal experience works best rather than relying on others and their opinions.

D8, 10 HHC etc are boo boo. Delta 9 is the real deal, same chemical in the weed we all know & love. But legally they can only put so much Delta 9 THC in that edible. Solution- take two! But then- that has to be blended with CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC. Now you essentially have a marijuana edible. Edibles don’t hit your head the same as smoking obviously, but some of us are too old for that, and the difference is minor. The largest difference is politics. “Marihuana” supports your local drug dealer. “Hemp” supports your local jarhead business owner, and it’s Sid Miller approved. Unfortunately drug tests are still widely used and don’t care about your silly politics.

If you take enough edibles you get way higher than you ever could off normal weed. It can start getting into hallucinogen territory

The single most important reason for legalising grass is to obliterate the profit of selling it illegally. It should have done everywhere decades ago. If manufacturers can sell booze that has insane health, familial, and social consequences, then why should grass be illegal? It is no worse than booze, and we all know that booze will always be available.

The profits go to the producers and there will be plenty of non-registered ones around. Legalization does not change the fact that it is a crime on federal level and very few employers consider a positive drug screen acceptable. Plenty of second hand smoke causes a "thank you but no thank you" and in some industries this has long lasting effects.

Then we have to bloody well figure it out! The world changes and takes us with it whether or not we like it. The old system has costs us billions in losses both in terms of law enforcement, courts, prisons, and the wider social implications to both businesses and families. More and more I have come to think "thank the heavens that a generation is finally passing away and a younger group can take over!"

OMG please - just look to Calif or Colorado where grass is legal to grow also. The majority of pot sales are still underground and the huge windfall politicians thought would result did not happen. Again your failure to understand supply/ demand / taxes failed you in your arguments.

The only thing legalizing will do is reduce the amount of criminals in jails or in our already crowded court system.

It may effect people like alcohol and it may even help with pain and other medical issues but your are absolutely wrong that legislating and taxing will make the underground sales go away.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/roberth...h=4e5b2190529d

Since 2012, when voters in Colorado passed Amendment 64 and legalized the first adult-use, recreational marijuana market in the U.S., the state has surpassed $10 billion in total sales. This not only represents a massive success and proof-of-concept for the future of the American cannabis industry, it also accounts for billions in tax revenues for the state of Colorado.

I don't bother listening to gibberish any more.
