Both parties had factions of conservatives and liberals. Or, you honestly believe Calvin Coolidge was a liberal and FDR was a conservative?

Which one are you choosing to run your business for you?

I’m embarrassed by the voters in Hays County and the hyper-partisan environment we now live in, not at this kid. He’s got a job that pays $92k (FY23) for at least the next 4 years.
So the incumbent was entitled to the job just because they'd been there for 30 years?

That kind of thinking is why we have a Congress/Senate full of old men and women that are out of touch with life in the real world.

19 year old, high school education, living at home. Sounds super qualified. Yay, Hays County! (Home of Texas State University and San Marcos just outside of Austin, if anyone was wondering.)

Yup, in a town where the local university has always been female majority, Republicans shot themselves in the foot for with going overboard with the woman's abortion rights. This is a political knee jerk reaction to that.

I agree we need a full cleaning of the folks in Congress & Senate .. .. but don't you think a 19yo is kind of the opposite extreme?

Agree. He has no clue how to do budgets, manage/hire staff, etc. I feel bad for the incumbent who lost their job to this unqualified person.
