Not unless you were a cop, or had a big stick right.

Galveston is wierd in the fact that one block it can be the nicest area, and then a block over be dangerous, and checker like that all over the city.

Default The Seawall

Take some time to explore the city when you get there. While I wouldn't want to live there (save for a dream weekend retreat on Tiki Island), it is a fantastic place to spend some time. It has a lot of historical significance, it has the legendary Strand, and you will like Seawall Boulevard. I don't wish to discourage you from living there -- I'm sure you will find something good there that's right for you.
