Hello, I live in the Midland-Odessa Metro area and as a resident I would love to know if Loop 338 or Loop 250 will ever have a major interchange with I-20 (ex. A cloverleaf) Both loops have really basic interchanges with I-20 and I personally feel like they should make them into freeway interchanges because the traffic is only going to get worse. With that will they ever expand loop 250 south and will they ever convert loop 338 into a freeway? If you have any information I would greatly appreciate it!

I-14 and I-27 have been approved and the idea is they both go to Midland-Odessa.

TxDot has probably been in 'catch up' mode since before the ever completed the first stretch of anything.

People in all the major metro areas are suffering through TxDot projects that are long overdue... and some of those will likely be 'outdated' before they're even finished.

No idea. It will be a long time before it is 100% complete. But parts will get built.

There was a ribbon cutting for the Loop 338 and Yukon interchange today. I think its a overpass now possibly or at least thats what I heard.

If the progress on I-69 is any indication it will definitely be a while. Not that I think its lagging, its just a huge project.
