Yeah....and to the OP, I'm sure you came from Europe to America for a reason, and perhaps some of that reason may have to do with providing a better life. The land of the free and the brave is full of opportunity. That does NOT mean that it's FREE to YOU because of those BRAVE enough to pull their own weight. Opportunity does not come off another's sweat. Sure, we have enough of those free-loaders in this country, and guess what? We DON'T WANT anymore. Please take your socialist and entitled attitude to some other country that will serve it. We don't need you in the great state of Tx, or any other state for that matter.

Cobolt--I don't think the OP said that he is ORIGINALLY from Europe--he is in Europe now after living in US for several years and getting married and advanced degrees--
I have stated my conjecture about why they moved to Europe and why they are looking to move elsewhere...
the OP has never stated what his home country is...

You're correct. I interpretted the OPs posting differently and apologize for that mishap. The gist of my post was stating that we don't need freeloaders and I stand by that.

No matter what a husabnd and wife have to provide for their family and really shouldn't depend on others unless they physically have to IMO. Its fine to do what you want as long as you can support yourself and family. Too many other people that have physical and mental problems need the help to waste medicaid on those physically fit IMO.

I"ll have to agree...if you are young and able to work, that is what should happen in order to get health insurance for your family. The beauty of computers is that the screen lights up so you can write at night when you get home from the job that has supplied you with insurance for you, your spouse, and your kids. Furthermore, I saw that you said your home sale in Europe has afforded you a home here so instead of getting so much home, get a smaller home and use the rest of your home sale to pay for things such as insurance. I am of the opinion that nothing is given to you, you must work to get those things just like the rest of us.
