454, you are correct that it is true everywhere. My experience, however, has been that Waco is significantly more superficial and shallow than most, which surprised me.

It is SUPER typical in any Christian school organization- It just is Baylor is in the spotlight a lot more...which I am sure is not appealing to many people. It is a shame!

I know of many nice people from Baylor, but also met quite a few snobs too.

Baylor is just like any other school in a mid size to big city, there will be issues. I've dated Baylor girls hey they like the locals and make great wives. Some people think just because they are from a bigger city, that they are better some how or expect it to be peaches all the time.

Hi, we are a retired couple from the N.E who me impressed with Waco area &its rebounding. We visited for two weeks last year & liked what we saw. What towns would you recommend to move to. Thank you.
