That's amazing. By essentially tying two of the fastest growing metros in the nation in regards to connectivity it would only further accelerate the economies even more. People also could practically live in one and work in another. Hope this happens as many businesses would benefit from it. Executives at Exxon for example traveling to Houston in no time when a problem arises in their facilities there for example.

By that time, the HQ will already be in Houston and they have private planes anyway.

I'm not sure why they aren't in Houston now. Doesn't make sense to me. Plus their socially conservative policies are something a lot of people around here won't miss.

There's currently a survey on the Dallas Voice website asking people if they buy Exxon gas. This survey has a lot to do with people boycotting the company due to their socially conservative stance on issues.

I read a report that Tesla is looking at possibly building that giga factory in southern Dallas County on the development known as Dallas inland port. Very interesting turn of events. It would be massive for Southern Dallas County. I'm surprised that the Alliance Corridor hasn't made a pitch for the factory, considering it would bring 6500 jobs. But anyway this is something Dallas County leadership should hop on if in fact Tesla has strong interest in it.
