How is the article "brutal"?

Mr Jankowski estimates that Houston could still add as many as 50,000 new jobs this year.

The city's economy has diversified since the 1980s.

More foreign goods now flow through Houston's port than any other in America; some 51m people a year now fly through its two airports, one of which, Hobby, is being expanded by Southwest Airlines.
What a terrible place to live... enough with the anti-Houston rants..

I am very familiar with the duck test but fail to see its relevance in this "debate" ? are you referring to trolls? Please explain ?

All the pics are great but that 1st one, MANN!!!

It just reminds me how much I am in love with West Houston/Memorial City/Energy Corridor and the Katy Freeway. It's truly a badass drive, probably one of the best in the state with big buildings towering over the freeway just sucking you in as you're coming into town.

Someone on another forum said they didn't like the blue lighting of the Memorial City skyline. I was thinking, "How can you NOT like that?" It just looks too awesome at night, especially the crown of the Memorial Herman building despite the fact that it's probably the ugliest designed building I've ever seen.

I remember a time (just 10 years ago), it seemed that Houston's lighting only meant decorating it's buildings with beige christmas lights lining the rooftops of the buildings. Greenspoint is still a remnant of this. Glad to see it's changing.
