Because. Dallas doesn't deserve one.

Whatever, Houston got it first (among other things). That's all that matters.

I know I sound very pathetic, but who cares...

Dude. You really need other things to worry about. Pathetic is right.

Dallas' De Beers doesn't diminish Houston's in any way. I think we should all be proud that Texas has two.

Houston and Dallas are incredibly similar in so many ways. When judging the cities, it all goes boils down to taste. It's like comparing Coke to Dr Pepper.

Didnt Houston also get that Egyptian exhibit back in like the late 80s or early 90s??? OH WAIT ......No that was Dallas ALSO.
I could go on and on but I dont wanna sound PATHETIC AND PETTY!!!

I hope nobody from other states read this thread

It really is like two spoiled little kids. If one city has something the other doesn't, that city will be sure to rub it in the other's face. If one city is getting something and the other isn't, well, the other one had better get it too or else it isn't fair!!!

I don't hate Dallas. I was actually born there and spent my early childhood there. If someone from another state said something bad about Dallas, I'd have to defend it.

As for which city is better? Houston, of course

Hey it's a tradition we must keep -- both cities enjoy it too much to stop now! Do you think the Aggies and the Longhorns will ever get along? Of course not.

Oh, well I was only joking. But just really think that they need to draw the line at the amount of stuff these cities share if they're really trying to be different.

Seriously, those of us know which city is ahead in the game.

As would I. I always defend Texas, period. But this thing we've got going on between Dallas and Houston is nothing more than good natured ribbing. Healthy competition. Sibling rivalry.
