. In Texas, space is filled with billboards, apt complexs or subdivisions, warehouses, weekly rate motels, fast food places and/or big box retailers.

I'd rather live in an area with small swaths of undeveloped land (with potential) than one with continuous low-density sprawl.
Yes, even worse in a city like Houston with NO zoning.

One of my professors was actually talking about this not too long ago.

Houston's the only city where you can have 20 story highrise behind the backyards of a bunch of 1-2 story homes.

I love it, though.

Why does Houston have a CityPass, and DFW doesn't? I thought you said DFW gets more tourists.

No cities in Florida have a CityPass either, yet Orlando and Miami get far more tourists than any city in Texas.

Comparing Houston and Dallas is like comparing a Big Mac to a Whopper. Neither one is on the level of sirloin steak.

Maybe it's just that there are now more people participating, but the Houston vs. Dallas rivalry is at an all time high. Over the past few weeks, it's been uglier than I can ever remember it being.

Well the Whopper is broiled so maybe that's apt for Houston.
