i like all the sports teams better in Houston..
ice hockey is for the yankees..
i like the more international feel of Houston better..
i like the more metropolitan feel of Houston..
i like the fact Houston is surrounded by many lakes and a gulf.
i prefer a real beach..
i prefer the Houston downtown even though Dallas has come a decent ways from the desolate ghost town it once was..
i prefer the night life and attitudes of the Houstonians over the Dallas scene.
in terms of food i think Houston blows Dallas out of the water.

for the record, (even though i agree with a lot of what i said) im just being facetious because in the end, opinions dont hold any weight.

and "Houstons proximity to Louisiana brings it down a couple notches"? what does San Antonios proximity to Mexico do? lol
Are they saying Oklahoma is classier than Louisiana ? And who are they kidding anyway, they have never missed an episode of Duck Dynasty and they know it?

They probably wont reply since DD is on tonight !

That looks like a meaningless list to be honest.

Ha. Depends on who you talk to. A Yankee is anyone from America.

Yankee - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

it appears as though we are both right. outside of the US Yankee can refer to anyone who is an American. but inside the US, its almost always used to describe people of the north.

It appears that Dallas benefited from being separated from Fort Worth in this study

Yeah I noticed that too lol. Apparently Milliken sees the Ft. Worth half as a relative drag relative to the Dallas half (though it's still 16th, which ain't too shabby).

That's interesting though, since the Fort Worth half seems to have driven the job growth of the metro as a whole more than the Dallas half over the last five years. The focus on high-tech sectors is where this study falls short - why are there four factors (comprising a significant percentage of the weighting used to calculate the scores) related to high tech only? Clearly that's all that really matters here.

No wonder cities like Austin and SF are at the top of the list!
