I've been working for a small HEB here as an overnight stocker in grocery for the past year and a half. Since, one of the grocery Leads is leaving, I've been asked by my grocery manager if I'd like to take over his position. I've covered for the leads a few times, but only did basic things like taken calls and answered questions pertaining to grocery from customers and other departments, organized the back wareroom, filled end-caps, kick-outs & displays and a few other things that are not very different from stocking overnight, but I know there are alot more things that Leads do like storewalks, vendor audits, ordering, etc. I've got about a week to decide and I just want to know what it's like being a Lead. Satisfaction level, any stress, what's the pay like and what is the difference between a Certified Grocery Lead and just a regular lead? Thanks for any replies.

I think I would go to the grocery manager and ask your questions. I think you will get much better answers there than on this board.
