I lived in Plainview 13 years and I didnt realize how much I loved it until I moved.I miss the laid back lifestyle and that fact that it only took 10 minutes or less to get anywhere in town.Plus I miss all the friendly people.

Born and raised here in old Pville. There is some nice stuff here, not a whole lot to do, but close enough to Lubbock and Amarillo. If only it would rain a little more!

I am moving back to Plainview at the end of May, due to being laid off down here in Angleton Texas. (Near Houston)
I am searching for a house to rent there in Plainview right now online.
I have family there, so that should be a good place to start.
Of course I may have to move to Lubbock to find a good job, I worked at an electronics company for 13 years and BOOM they came in and told me my job was over, they didn't even let me clean out my desk myself, they walked me to the door and said adiós.
So, I must wait till my daughter gets out of school and we pick up and go.
We need a house to rent immediately, because we really don't want to put out family members by staying more than a couple of days with them.
See y'all in Plainview soon!!
