Still looks like Summer here in El Paso TX. I recall when the leaves were all gone before Halloween, the grass was all yellow, and Halloween looked like it should. Were gonna be in the low to mid 80's today.

It's been cooler than normal for the past couple of weeks here in DFW. Today though, it's supposed to be in the upper 70s and expected to be that way for the next five days.

I'll take it. I've seen Halloweens here in North Texas where it was near 90 degrees for many years. This has to be one of the coolest Octobers I've seen in some time. Heck, we nearly hit freezing on several occasions.

You've just got to love the poll results. This was no contest. The consensus was just tired of summertime.

It really was a hot summer this year in Dallas. My car's A/C was no matchup for the heat and had to roll with the windows down when my engine idles at a red light. When I was cruising at 45mph, the A/C was cool.

It's still warm and will be for a few days like Synopsis said. Darn, I am so ready for some really cool weather! And by cool I mean 50-60's during the day and 40's at night. Yessir, that's perfect fall weather to me.

That sounds like Oklahoma weather this time of the year but right now we are in a warm spell and it makes me feel like I am in Texas.

When that cold weather hits in Oklahoma, I will be wishing that I was in Texas.
