I grew up watching my Dad and Grandma having a slice of cheddar with their apple pie. It's not something I ever took to though.

This may be a little off topic on pies, but talking about cheese and toppings brought up a memory of mine. My mother used to make lime jello and put pineapple chunks and cottage cheese inside. She would then serve this desert with mayonnaise on top. Before you give it the or treatment, give it a try.

Cherry, Key Lime and an awesome Peach Pie with a graham cracker crust that just reminds me of summer...eating it during any other season would be a crime!

I like an occasional Key Lime. Wonderful.

Speaking of graham cracker crusts, what do you think about cheesecake? It's a form of pie. What say y'all? And what's everyone's favorite?

I make a mean key lime pie!

As for cheesecakes...is there a bad one?!?! I also make a great pumpkin cheesecake and german chocolate cheesecake. I would probably say my german chocolate cheesecake is my favorite!

REAL whipped cream, yes. You can't have too much real whipped cream on ANY pie, no matter what kind it is.

Ice cream--Bluebell, Vanilla Bean--best pie topping, too!! Now I'm getting hungry at 9am....!!

You already know my favorite pies. My favorite cheesecake topping is blueberry. Otherwise, I'll eat my cheesecake plain. It doesn't really need anything.
