But before you do anything, go to the Texas Travel Home website. Over on the right side is a link to order the Texas Travel Guide... it's FREE FREE FREE. Order tonite and it'll be there in a few weeks. Did I mention... it's FREE. Do it now. Good luck and welcome to Texas.

What kind of work does you husband do?
I ordered that...and I've read it carefully but I still have no idea where to travel in Texas.

As for being "badass on the internet", that's laughable. Telling someone who offers nothing but platitudes from reject-bin self-help books and insults to **** off if they don't like my posts is being the ultimate badass.

Someone telling another person from the anonymity of their keyboard to *** off is the ultimate bad*ss?

Pardon me while I go make an anonymous post to Mike Tyson about what a wuss he is.By your standards that will make me one tough dude.

Notam-

I am sorry to see that you had a horrible time in Corpus Christi. However, my family consists of me, my husband and my wonderful 7 year old son, and we love it here. We do not speak Spanish. While it is a language I would like to learn, we don't need to to have a great living here.

We go to the beach, the museums, the parks and do several other things. It did take me a couple of years to find a school district that fit us! I think those decisions are unique to families in terms of what their needs and wants are. Below are several links to school districts:

Corpus Christi Independent School District
Calallen Independent School District
Tuloso-Midway Independent School District
Sinton Independent School District
Odem Edroy Independent School District
Ingleside Independent School District
Robstown Independent School District
Bishop Independent School District
Kingsville Independent School District

Good luck with your relocation research!

I think it is time for getmeoutofhere to be banned. Quite a few personal insults in his posts. It shouldn't bother him since he does not like Texas and shouldn't miss posting in here.

He is posting in a Texas forum and he hates it here. Go spend some time in another state forum, and find out more about where you want to go when you finally leave.

My two cents: Born and raised in Texas and left almost three years ago and lived in two other states, can't wait to get back to Texas, which we are in the process of doing.

Be careful what you ask for in wanting to leave; especially if you are originally from here.
