I have lived in Bellville, TX all my life (25yrs) and I think it is in the perfect spot. Katy/ Houston is only 45min to a hour away. Bryan/College Station is also 45min away. We have about 7,000 people here and Brenham is only 20min away and it has about 15,000 people. Nice schools cute square not in tornado ally:-) Here are some pictures, hope you enjoy...

Default Native Texas. Been all over this state, probably more than most.

If you like it laid back west texas is nice in the small towns. East Texas is okay, but there are alot of hicks. Any suburb around a big city could be for you.

As far as weather the only place that YOU might consider cold would be the pan handle.

The question is what type of people do you want to live with, white, black or hispanic?
