Kinky still owns.
Keep deluding yourself. Kinky and Carol sealed Perry's re-election and if either of them run again they'll seal it for the Republican candidate in 2010 as well.

There aren't enough independently-minded voters in Texas to push a third-party candidate over the top.

Kinky said that was his big mistake during the last election; running as an Independent. If he runs again, he said he will run as a Democrat. I certainly don't want Perry or Kay Bailey, they are just more of the same crap we've seen from Perry for these many years.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I just think it's silly that you're pointing out the obvious.

Larry Kilgore

Quote:
Texas Secession - Washington continues to ignore the 10th amendment. Until Texas independence, Washington's mandates on transportation, education, housing, health care and family issues will continue. Texas GOP Platform page 8 and 20:"We support state sovereignty reserved under the Tenth Amendment and oppose mandates beyond the scope of federal authority. We support downsizing of the federal government in order to re-establish states’ rights."
Elect Larry Kilgore

Kinky should run for the Democratic nomination. I think that he can build the winning coalition.

I will vote for almost anyone but Governor Goodhair. Kay Bailey would probably be alright, but even though I'm a more conservative type I think I'm going to venture to lesser known Republicans or Libertarians. Even a Democrat if he/she holds similar views to what I do regarding the State.

No offense but one of Larry Kilgore's supporters is Bob Enyart, a far-right wing radical pastor a la Fred Phelps who believes that gays and people who commit abortion should be executed.

Plus you add in the ridiculous assertion that Texas should secede (which would trigger a war with Washington) and Mr. Kilgore's got fringe candidate written all over him.

IOW, I think I'll pass.
