What's your opinion? I'd have to say Glen Rose. I absolutely love it there. I try to get out there every year.

There are too many for me to pick one, it could be Big Bend, Alpine, Glen Rose, Santa Anna, Fredricksburg, or just a drive on a scenic highway.

Yeah, I like lots of different areas too. Lots of places in the Hill Country, West Texas and South/Southeast Texas. I like the woodsier areas where I grew up like around Brazoria, Lake Jackson, West Columbia, Sweeney. I think Wimberly, Kerrville, Bandera, New Braunfels, Salado, Georgetown are nice. I like every town I've been in around Tyler or Piney Woods in general. Tomball is pretty. Washington on the Brazos, New Braunfels....

Southeast Texas <==> Prettiest place in Texas? Well that's the first time I've ever heard that, but ok!!

My vote goes to the Hill Country, Devil's Backbone on RR 32, and along RR 1431 between Cedar Park and Marble Falls. It kinda reminds me of the Sierra Nevada or Eastern Tennesse foothills, though not quite dramatic.

When you go out towards Anthony (exit 0 on I-10) the mountains they have there are pretty cool, too.

We have to pick? Can't do it. Hill Country, Big Bend area, Padre Island National Seashore, Piney Woods...all beautiful. I agree Glen Rose is lovely.

OH yea, you'd like Willow city, Canine. There are some tracts there for sale (20ac) that has not sold in a long time...maybe you can get a deal if you were to put some kind of offer in about a year or more.
