Well, let me state the really obvious -- we have many people in the U.S. who visit here from other countries and continents. Any international airport has a solid supply on an ongoing basis. Viruses are good at mutating and combining: it's why they're very, very successful as a (quasi)life form.

I think its time we take a closer look at our borders, and quarantine our country from anything getting over from Mexico. Until this blows over, lets close the borders.

Consider this folks....all the kids just got home from spring break (more or less). Many of those kids went to visit family in Mexico. How many, as yet, unreported cases could be out there? One bus line in Houston reports that it transports about 800 folks back and forth/week. There are a number of bus lines out there. There has already been a large potential for exposure. I think everyone is watching this pretty closely.

The strange part is who its hitting the most and hardest. People beteeen 20-40 and in otherwsie healthly condition. I have heard many variations of why but it seems not to be hitting the older many unhealthy people. It also seem that they are lookig for the mexcian connection that brought it into this copuntry;like the two identifies students in NYC that had recently return from viisting mexico.
