When I'm hungry, anything over 2 minutes is too long lol

I do like my food fresh though, but it's not a must.

If I'm starving, but get to the place and my order is being prepared, my starvation is gone, because the food is on its way . If I'm still waiting in line, I'm VERY hungry, lol.

All Braum's products originate from the family farm in Oklahoma, so all franchises have to be within a certain distance of the farm (like 250 miles I think).

In-N-Out is like this as well--all of their food is delivered day-of from company-owned warehouses in California, so it has to be pretty close to CA.

My vote for the best true fast food hamburger place in Texas is Whataburger. I have not, however, been to Texas Burger. Is this a small-town place like DQ? I do think that Whataburger's fries are very average.

My favorite burger and fries overall is Burger House. They only have a drive-through at some locations, but their burgers are excellent and their fries are heavenly. As are the onion rings.

I have never been to In-N-Out but everyone I know who has eaten there raves about it.

I ate at a Braum's on a road trip recently and it tasted similar to Dairy Queen. It was good though. I've heard people compare In-N-Out to Beck's Prime. I guess I'll have to see on my next trip to Cali.

So, pass the french fries. They're the best!

The Whataburger French fries are about as good as any 'frozen' fries can be. I like them!

And they've got great onion rings, too.
