Why doesn't that surprise me? If "freedom from religion" is interpreted to mean that religion should be illegal, well of course that's not going to happen. But that is a ridiculous distortion. The government itself should be free from religion. That is the only way to insure freedom of religion.

That's truly horrifying. He just gets worse and worse.

He needs to read the actual writings and opinions of the founders of this country. Not just the Constitution and Amendments (which is pretty clear on the matter), but what the people who wrote and signed it had to say on the matter. He might find it eye-opening (and he's the one who needs to have his eyes opened).

Remember, if you push religion into the workings of government, you're inviting government into religion.

One person they want to revise the Social Studies curriculum is David Barton. He is the founder of this foundation. It's so blatantly obvious they have an agenda to inject Christianity into the public schools.
