Considering?? Go for it! If your main priorities are fun etc, any of the major cities are worth looking at. My personal favourites are Dallas, Austin and San Antonio. If live music is your thing, head for Austin!

Texas is warm and fun all over. Try Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio. All of them.

I would need more details. Any of the cities in Texas could work. Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio just happen to be some of the biggest. There are also El Paso, Amarillo, Lubbock, Corpus Christi, Waco, Ft. Worth, Temple, Tyler, Killeen...among many others

Can you go to the USA for work and travel?
I heard from Canada and Australia that they offer those special VISA, but I haven't heard about being able to work&travel in the USA.

Check for that first before travelling here.
