As for cost, yes you may not mind paying more taxes, but that does not justify confiscating the earnings of others who do not hold your opinion on the matter and that is the crux. Because on average we are paying out nearly half our earnings to Federal, state and local taxes now, much of it is collected in things like fees and surcharges. So what that means is you are spending about half of your working hours just to support government. That is not freedom and certainly not what the constitution guarantees us. Perry understands that and did the right thing.

Bascailly he won because of the state of the state . People are reluctant to change when things are going good;especailly looking at the other states in this recession.
