He means they're not going to ever leave the Dallas area and change names like the Houston Oilers, Dallas Texans, LA Rams, Baltimore Colts, etc. More and more NFL teams are located outside of their cities and in their suburbs these days. San Francisco is the next team about to move to the suburbs. They're not going to change names, just like the New York Giants and Jets aren't the New Jersey Giants and Jets. And honestly, what does it matter? I've never seen a place outside of NYC so obsessed with being in the city vs. the burbs as Dallas.

It costs every family in Arlington over $200 a year in additional taxes. Hope it's worth it for a city no one knows about.

I see you want to be technical, let me rephrase this. The Dallas Cowboys will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, leave the Dallas metro or change it's name. And the NY Jets and Giants aren't in Kings, Queens, Bronx, Richmond or New York counties either, wth does that matter?

And she's right!

I was a Saints fan when their record was horrible and I'm a proud Saints fan now. This is why I have patience with my husband who has been a Cowboy fan all his life. Most teams have upward and downward spirals.

Geaux, Saints and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JIMMY GRAHAM!

Let's not rename the Cowboys, let's replace the meddling owner.

Meh. Nobody is crying. Just pointing out that Jerry sucks as a GM.

So. The skins don't play in Washingyon. Neither the Jets or Giants play in New York. The Bills play in Orchard Park. The Niners are moving out of San Francisco. The Dolphins play near Broward County. The Cowboys play in Arlington but the facilities and headquarters are in Irving which is in Dallas county. You don't change the brand that is the Dallas Cowboys.
