Thats not done for office.
I could definitely see that accounting for some of the space, but your telling me downtown Dallas has 19 million square feet of atriums and common areas?

Dtd has more buildings that are larger and taller than TMC..if you counted every sq inch of every building in DTD you know it woulld have more space ......I know it sounds good but its just not that simple.

The Texas Medical Center, which is made up of 47 institutions, has 72,600 workers, according to its Web site. The area occupies more than 1,000 acres and has 5.1 million patient visits a year. The center has $7.1 billion in approved building and infrastructure investments Exceeding one thousand acres in size, the Center is larger than downtown Dallas

Now I get it..its only larger in land size not space in the buildings...I knew yall was crazy..

I prefer to think of it as a Salt Lake City vs DC comparison. Salt Lake may have the skyscrapers but DC has the buildings and space.

It sure is an incredible optical illusion. Sort of like Doctor Who and his spaceship. From the outside it looks like a small English police booth. From the inside looking out, it is huge.
