Hi everyone! I'm new to the boards and I currently live in Toronto, Canada but in a few months I'm moving to Dallas and I have a lot of questions about TX but I was just wondering what kind of music people there listen to? or what's popular right now?
Thanks,
Kelly

One of the very best things about Texas is the variety of music available on the radio. There is no one "kind" that people listen to. Rock, rap, R&B, jazz, country, tejano, classical, you name it.

As far as local stuff goes, you'll find that if you like a bit of country mixed with a little swing, folk, rock, and *ahem* pride , you'll love artists from Texas. Sometimes it takes a while to grow on you, but it's got its own distinct style and you'll miss it if you ever leave!
