Count your blessings. It truely is a miracle that you came out with as little injuries as you did.

It's great to hear that you are ok!

I sure don't know how you survived that but I'm happy to hear that you did.

The doctors at Brackenridge Hospital could not believe that I'm still alive, let alone without brain damage, paralysis, or any major, life-altering injuries. I luckily only sustained injuries to my neck (chipped vertebrae) and cuts predominately on my right arm, where i presumably blocked some of the glass. I will have to wear a neck brace for 4-6 weeks but I should be all right.

I went to look at my car yesterday after i was released from the hospital and could not help but say: "I should be dead!"

I posted a picture on my attachment of me next to my car.
I hope this is true. It would be a pretty sick joke if your were joking.

I was driving from Austin to San Antonio earlier that morning; I drove through that area around 10:00 am. I was in the right lane and had to hit my breaks when a truck in front of me hit his breaks while getting off at the weigh station. Truck traffic was backing up onto the freeway. I always give myself plenty of distance between me and the car in front, so I avoided hitting him. What's strange, is I thought to myself what a dangerous situation that was; cars are driving normal speed and suddenly approach trucker traffic at a stand-still. I've never seen that weigh stop backed-up like that!

I HATE driving from Austin to San Antonio, but unfortunately have to do that drive at least twice/month. Every time, I pray I'm not in an accident.

Based on the description of that accident, I'm amazed the driver survived and posting on this forum!
