My husband and I are still debating over where in TX we want to move to. We are currently living in North Richland Hills. Our plan is to sell our home and make a big profit (property values here are through the roof!) and use the money to purchase a less expensive (considering a manuf home) with 20 or more acres in a small city/town less than an hour from (preferably) Ft.Worth or Dallas.

Right now we're looking at Azle for it's close proximaty to Ft.Worth and the fact that the homes/properties are less expensive. It looks like Azle is really growing.

So what can you tell me about Azle? Any negatives we should be aware of? Also, does anyone know if there are any good Christian schools in that area?

Thanks!
Sonflower

You are 30 minutes or less from Azle, what's stopping you from scoping out the area yourself? Not trying to be smarmy or anything, but it would be a whole lot easier for you to get first hand info. A couple of hours drive through the city with stops at various popular and strategic locations should give you a pretty good gut feeling whether its the kind of place you'd like to move to or not.
Having said that, Azle will be a major suburb of Ft.Worth in no time. Also,if our Governor has his way, the Trans-TX corridor will go right through there. Either you'll make a killing with the property or you'll have sleepless nights wondering if eminent domain will gobble it up.
