More Rick Perry nonsense.

2004 Execution Haunts Texas Governor's Race : NPR

Texas deserves a real governor and not this clown. Hopefully Texas can break its streak of electing bad governors.

I've never voted for that man and a goof up by him isn't going to change that In fact, I'll be glad to have someone else in the governor's mansion this time..

The Dallas Morning News also published a story last night about Goodhair's TABC chief sending out an email to hundreds of alcohol-serving establishments that he regulates "asking" them to donate to Perry's re-election campaign. While not illegal, it's a HUGE conflict of interest and could come off as a shakedown.

You are right, it sounds shady to me. I hope Texas gets another governor soon. Perry is an embarrassment.

Mr Hair is a quack ... sticking his licked finger in the air to check the political winds.

Although your source (NPR) is quite agenda driven on the Left I think even a blind hog finds an acorn once in a while.

To get a real leader instead of a political hack like Perry I recommend checking here:

Debra Medina for Texas Governor | Home

Just check her stances.

Kay Bailey Hutchinson woiuld just be more of the same I feel! Beholden to the national Machine.

He is also messing with the Universities in a bad way. He fired the female President of Texas A&M because she dared have an opinion different from the Perry patsy Chancellor there.
He is pushing politically motivated people into the UT system. Perry has made it his stated goal to push more right wing professors into UT and A&M.
Which is utterly ridiculous. You hire in the University system based on merit, stature, and competance. Someones political orientation shouldnt even be a consideration.

Basically he's done. He screwed up major league when he started messing with UT in a politically motivated way.

An Aggie pushing his political agenda onto UT? No it didnt go over too well with many of the states most powerful people who happen to be UT grads.

Put a fork in him he is done.

Ok, I want to know how Debra Medina plans to fund schools in bedroom communities with limited sales tax bases. I see another "Robin Hood" plan on the horizon.

Whats wrong with 'Robin Hood', you believe its fair that state schools in poor neighborhoods have vastly inferior schools, and educational opportunities because their parents make less money?
Thats disgusting.

What's sad is that while the governor should be resigning over an incident like this, he'll probably be re-elected, while Elliot Spitzer went down for getting a little side action.
