I saw the skyline from the 610 ship channel bridge the other day. If there was a way that's I could stand on top of my car, in the middle of the freeway, and take pictures I would do it. That is easily the best view of the skyline and it seriously looks like Chicago. All the inner loop skylines line up perfectly.

you really do have to be elevated to understand the sheer scale of Houston

Dallas needs to dredge the Trinity or build a lake. It would be nice if the river could look like that 24/7. The lake next to downtown Austin does wonders for the aesthetic beauty of the city. The state legislature has already fitted a bill for more water reservoirs to be built in the state. Why not just build a big lake where the Margret Hunt Bridge now sits.
