really? I may not be an architect but I have been to the TMC more than a few times. In Houston that's the place I have seen the least box buildings.

I don't consider Parkland to be the most beautiful hospital in Dallas because of my own personal style in regards to hospitals. I think Baylor and St Paul look for example have a much better appeal. With that said however, Parkland deserves lots of credit because of its sheer magnitude to begin with. This hospital will be a game changer with the amount they have invested in everything from design to state of the art equipment. Even their parking garage won an award not too long ago. I love how they will have their own station right beside the building and how everything has been well planned and executed. Pictures don't do this place any justice, that place is big.

Exactly, people don't understand how big it is until you see it. You can see this building from The I-35 Trinity River Bridge. This building is over 2 million sq feet, not including parts of the old hospital that will remain open.

It reminds me of a fallout shelter made of 18 wheeler stacked on top of each other. Something you'd see in Mad Max.

The new parkland building will look totally different once they put the outer glass on.

The exterior of the building is finished.....I think. The cranes were taken down so I don't see how it would be possible to add glass to the exterior.

I agree, but I wanna go checkout the building to see if everything is true. I do love the 5 story atrium in the building, that's my favorite part of the building.

It was built as the HQ of 7-Eleven but the company moved to a new building in 2007.

If the exterior of the building is finished then I agree with the others, it does look like the back of Chase tower. The boxy style is interesting but the facade ruins it, doesn't match up with the renderings.

Here's the newest building in the TMC, already u/c:
