Both are good but I like Houston's more.

Dallas has a generic skyline because it's the epicenter of the city. Houston is just extremely spread out with many areas having their own skyline. Put them altogether and you could have a Manhattan-esque skyline there.

I like Houston's better because it reminds me a bit of LA's downtown.

Houston and L.A Should marry each other so they can have you a baby "Los Houstonia" for you to move to and live in both cities at the same time huh??

You know something, as much as I love the City of Los Angeles, I absolutely hate their skyline.. Always have... I stayed there 2 years ago. I mean...it's really nothing to me. I think LA could do so much more for it's skyline, because they do have the room to expand it. So by default, I will not like Houston's if it's comparable to L.A.

LOL, LA's skyline is a bit lacking because for such a major city it has a weak array of buildings at it's epicenter.

But So does Houston. In fact both cities are similar in layout; huge downtown in the middle and annexed town surrounding it.

Note to Dallas skyline fans. While Pretty, your skyline isn't tall enough to compete with Houston's. Post all the colorful pictures you want. It isn't going to matter. You need some more height. Those two Super-talls Houston has makes a big difference in separating the two skylines.

Let's switch some words and see if that makes a difference...

Note to Houston skyline fans. While tall, your skyline isn't pretty enough to compete with Dallas's...

You need some more pretty...

Tweedledum... Tweeted ee...

You say powtahto, I say powtahto...

I find both skylines interesting in their own way.

Excellent photo! That picture alone illustrates the simple fact that Houston's skyline is far superior to Dallas. (And this doesn't even include Greenway or Galleria!) Sorry, Dallas's skyline can't compete....

Actually, i see two different clusters of buildings. Which one is Houston's skyline?

Dallas would have many similar points of view with high rise buildings in the foreground and the downtown in the background.

You should be comparing a picture to another picture. Which Dallas picture are you comparing it to?
