Hi, I just moved to McAllen. I buy grocery at H.E.B. Is there a farmer market in McAllen where I can get fresh, cheaper fruit and vegetables?

If not, could you recommend a good place to buy grocery?
Thanks.

Hi! Welcome to McAllen! Most people just shop at HEB, depending where you live in McAllen, I recommend the HEB on Shary. It's better and bigger than the SOuth 10th HEB. For a more Hispanic taste you could try Globe. I think we have a Sun Harvest, but not sure of prices. Hope you like McAllen, it's really growing.

Thanks, j96g.
I acutally found out from the internet there is an international produce terminal. I went there yesterday. Drove to the south on 23rd st. The market is for wholesale. But some sellers are willing to sell by pound. The prices are very low. Watermelon and big pineapple are $1.5 each. I think I will go there once a month from now on.
