I keep hearing about people from various parts of Texas going to Eagle Pass and crossing into Mexico to have Lap Band surgeries. Can anyone tell me what doctors do this and how we can find out the success rates of the surgeries?

Default website

I'm looking into the gastric sleeve, and I've found this website. Now I'm trying to figure out if it's safe in this area because of all of the recent drug related violence.

I have not heard about any narcoterrorists going into hospitals and attacking ordinary people recovering from surgery. American hospitals, through various forms of incompetence, malpractice and carelessness, kill about 100 times as many people (200,000 per year) as Mexican drug gangs. You'll be safer in Piedras Negras, than in a US hospital.

Instead of going to Mexico for a surgery, how about good old diet and exercise right here in the U.S.!
