My husband and I are moving to San Marcos from College Station and need to put our daughter in a daycare/learning center.

Our standards are now high b/c of the daycare/learning center she is at now and we would like to find something simular.

She will be in kindergarten in another year and I need to know about schools too. All I have read is that schools are terrible in San Marcos.

We are going to rent for a while to decide where we want to live and most of that depends on her school. My husband works in downtown San Marcos.

ALSO, where is a good place to live in San Marcos or surrounding areas, I havn't seen any subdivisions...HELP!!!!

You might look into blanco Blanco River Villlage, Blanco Vista, Cotton Wood Creek etc. This could get you started on daycares, but if you know ANYONE in San Marcos get some recomendations from them for sure, or call the Chamber of Commerce there.
