Averagely, how much would I have to pay for utilities in College Station if only me and my spouse live in the apartment?

The cost will depend on whether you end up with Bryan Utilities (BTU) or College Station. I have BTU, and for our 3 bedroom duplex, our bill ranges from around $60 in the winter to $120 in the summer (just depends on how much you run the air conditioning). Our water bill is usually around $20.

Thanks littleamen

How do I know if I will end up with Bryan utilities or College Station utilities?

Also, which is most expensive?

If you live in Bryan-Bryan utilities (BTU)
If you live in College Station-College Station utilities
I think their rates are about the same. I've lived in both cities, and didn't notice a significant difference. Bills ranged from $40 in winter to $80 in summer for my 1bdrm in Bryan.

I used to live in College Station, and it seemed like my utilities there were a little bit higher than where I live now in Bryan; nothing drastic, though.

The utilities in College Station are outageous. My last two bills have been over 300. The latest was 429. You might want to chose a place in Bryan so that BTU can be your provider.

Your post is pretty vague. What do you live in? House? How big?

It looks like 1000 kWH will cost about $97.80 with taxes in Bryan during the summer months.

The same 1000 kWH will cost about $113 in CS in the summer months.

Like someone else said, anywhere from $60 to $120 is a probable range.
