My wife has got a job at UT and we are moving to Toledo. We have been searching for apartments to rent in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We had almost finalized the Orchard Lakes Apartments on Bancroft which seems very nice. But they offer their own internet and cable connections and do not allow outside internet services. I read a few reviews about thin walls/ noise and also one mentioning about slow internet. Does anybody know about any serious issues at this community?

My husband was just hired at UT and is living at Westridge. The soundproofing isn't great, but the neighborhood is wonderful--safe, walkable, and close to both UT and Route 23. Getting to Ann Arbor takes about 45 minutes.
