We are looking to buy a house off of Hill and Reynolds (in between Hill, Reynolds, Holland-Sylvania, and Dorr). Any insight on the area is appreciated.

More info, we used to live off of McCord and Bancroft a few years ago (have since moved out of state, but now are moving back to Toledo). So we are familiar with the area businesses and what-not, just not the neighborhoods for the purpose of buying a house, if that makes sense.

Thanks!

I think that area is pretty decent. Burglaries are obviously abundant in Toledo, and no where is completely safe from that. That immediate neighborhood is where Rogers High School is, so that might be desirable or undesirable, depending on your priorities. This area probably isnt quite as nice as where you lived before off Bancroft and McCord but I think it would be fine.

I'd be wary about my proximity to some of the apartment complexes in the area, but as long as you don't have kids you plan on sending to the public schools, it can be an adequate place to live.
