We are a young couple, early 20's, relocating to Toledo from Chicago. We are really looking for advice from anyone that knows the area very well and can point us in the direction of something good from their own experience. Our rent maxes out at about $700 but we prefer less. He will be covering most of it with loans in the beginning while I look for a job, so lower is definitely better. We are used to pretty bad areas being from Chicago but we are looking for better, if we can afford it. Please help us out, we are on a very short time frame. Thanks for the help in advance!

Toledo rentals are generally very affordable, and you should be able to find something in the nice areas within your price range. The neighborhoods recommended to young people are usually Downtown, the Old West End, and Old Orchard, among others.

Default Apartment

Campus Village is right across the street from campus. I have a two bedroom apartment and each person pays no more than 420$ a month. If interested, inbox me.

There's an apartment complex on Collingwood called Executive Towers that did have apartments available when I called. I don't think they had many though. They seemed like a very good place. They were just out of my price range.

There were also some apartment complexes along Glendale like Glendale Village that had some apartments available. They would be in your price range!
