Hello. I am trying to help my sister find an apartment from January to May in Toledo or the surrounding area. Can anyone recommend specific apartment complexes? She would prefer to be no more than 15 to 20 minutes from the Toledo Art Museum where she will be working. Must be a safe area. Her budget is around $450/month including utilities.
Thanks is advance.

Is she set on living alone? At $450/mo with utilities included, she's probably going to have to find a roommate to make that work.

No, she is not set on living alone but I do not think something around $450 a month (or a little higher) is unrealistic. I have come across a few in my search.

Did they include utilities at $450/mo though?

I can't imagine there being very many apartment complexes for 450, utilities included, in the area unless they are rough places, like the ones off Airport Hwy near Swan Creek Metropark. You'll be able to find something that cheap probably, they might just not be well known. I don't know what style of apartment you like....building type, location, etc.....but if I were looking at the price range, I would be looking in the Old West End neighborhood regardless of my job, and it just happens to be where the Art Museum is anyway. You could probably find a cool unique apartment in one of the many big old historic houses for that price if you look hard enough. And you would be able to walk or bike to work easy. Downtown would also be a good choice, but it might be harder to find anything for that price downtown.

Check out some of the realtors' websites. Danberry and Noneman both list rentals.
