Is that bar in Toledo across from the depot where Kenny Rogers met Lucille still open?

Although i doubt the sincerity of this question, it made me curious enough to look it up. It was Caesar's Show Bar. I never knew that! I lived in the boonies, and when that song came out (in 1977) I had no knowledge of any kind of night life in downtown Toledo. It was a drag bar with female impersonators, and a great place to go for anyone, evidently. A city bus crashed into it one year! That I remember.

After a name change, and under new management, it was closed by city officials in 2010 for numerous violations, and it was deemed an unsafe building. Here is the article I found about it: Music fades, curtain closes on once-hot Toledo night spot - Toledo Blade

You're wrong on that one, I live in Toledo, it wasn't Caesar's Show Bar. Caesar's Show Bar was a gay bar and wasn't around when the song came out. There were two bars that were open at that time and are no longer there. They were right next to each other across from the Grey Hound bus station. The Monroe Bar and the Cedar Bar. This is fact from a long time Toledo resident, me.
