Where to meet singles in Toledo? Please Help! (house, high school)

I am in my late 20's, just relocated, and looking for advices and tips on meeting women in Toledo. Most of my coworkers are married. I have tried to do my own research; unfortunately, most of the information/posts were just complaints and disdain about the city, nothing helpful .

Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm 30 but I've been married for several years so I don't know much about trying to meet women in Toledo.

What are you into? Where did you move to Toledo from and how did you meet people there? What's the difference between here and there?

I suspect there might be less single people our age in Toledo than in some other cities because people who are still single at this age are probably career focused/driven and have probably moved away to bigger cities for more job opportunities as well as new social connections/experiences. Like your situation, most people once they're in the working world meet new people through their work....i can see how it would be difficult if everybody around you is a bunch of married fuddy duddies though.

I personally, don't have a specific preference or type of women (any race, religion,or body shape) as long as she doesn't do drugs, has a job and is not a sociopath.

I located from Philly. I met people trough friends, house parties, block parties, online dating, bar/night club sometimes in the street, and downtown.

Here in Toledo, I did go to Evolution Night club, Chasers, and Mulvaney's Bunker two weeks ago, but neither seems to be busy (I don't know where the busy bars are). I did try POF I but it's not going too well (maybe update my pictures, profile, and keep trying harder ). I feel like creeping out women when I make eye contact/talk to them in the street .

Yeah. It sounds like you've basically hung around that same area off Dorr St. Never been to Evolution. I haven't been to Chasers in a long time but it's always been a club popular with college kids. I've been Bunker here and there and I've seen it quite busy at times. Maybe just not the right night.

You sound like youre relatively open minded about who you want to meet but what would you consider to be your "scene"? I know some of the places you mentioned off Dorr are popular with college kids due to proximity to the campus but if you're beyond that age and scene you might want to explore other places.

I can't think of any one place specifically that's going to be a hot bed of singles looking to mingle but if you figure out what kinda place you like that's a start I suppose.

And obviously bars aren't the only way to meet people. POF might be alright for finding hookups but you might want to invest in like Match or something if you're serious about finding a real relationship.

I'll ask about what sort of activities you are into. Are you a runner or do you cycle or are into fitness? Toledo has some groups for all sorts of fitness activities. Are you into art? Toledo has a decent sized art community.

I'm also married but my brothers are single. Most of them have dated ladies from work or ones they've met at the gyms/fitness groups they work out with (mostly boot camp type of classes). Also church, if you are into church/religion. Bars as well. I also know folks who've done online dating here and who go to meetup groups for singles. Check meetup dot com for Toledo singles outings I know they have a 20s and 30s singles groups and all types of groups for singles on that website here in Toledo.

If you have an interest, you might want to try volunteering. I met my spouse while organizing a fundraiser for a scholarship; we did not live in Toledo, but just about everyplace has organizations that need people.

They are all on apps these days. Nobody initially meets in person.

It's extremely hard to make any connections in Toledo if you didn't go to high school here. Good luck.
