I really need the name of the best (high end) restaurant in Toledo. This is for entertaining clients while on a business trip. Thank you.

Downtown along the river there is this line of restaurants called ''the docks''. They are all exceptional, quite fancy, and extravagant restaurants. And delicious!

I personally recommend Navy Bistro.

Thanks. I also saw a place call Mancy's on the internet. How does that compare with Navy Bistro?

not fancy, but GREAT food is the Spaghetti Warehouse. Man I miss that place

Mancy's is nice, but for Italian I would pick the Warehouse over it anyday

Is the Boody House still open? Back in the 80's it was one of (if not THE) nicest restaurants in Toledo....valet parking, extensive selection of wines, harp music, historic brick interior, and wonderful food. Mancy's was also very nice back then. Spaghetti Warehouse has good food, but I wouldn't consider it high end, as the OP is looking for... Might be a bit noisy for taking clients to.

Mancy's is far away the best especially for business entertaining. Great food, atmosphere and they cater to business clientele. Private rooms if you want them or have a big enough crowd. Navy Bistro is very good too. Mancy's has their original location on Sylvania Ave. near Phillips, "Mancy's Bluewater Grill" in Maumee on Dussell Dr. and "Mancy's Italian" on Monroe St. All are great but I like the original best. No way would Spag Warehouse suit a business dinner and it's not even that good IMHO. Diva's on Huron St. downtown is a great place too. Very expensive, gourmet and upscale. You'll feel like you are in NYC or Boston, not a midwest kind of place but really good too. Make reservations for any of these places. I believe they all have websites too.

Oops, disregard my recommendation for Diva's in Toledo. I just went to their website and they are closing on March 1. This is really a shame for Toledo, it was a great place.

I have seen some great new plans as far as food goes for Toledo's up and coming Marina District across the river from downtown.
