Hello, all.

I will be moving to Toledo next month to start as a medical resident with the University of Toledo (MCO). I am looking at one bedroom apartments close to the campus (since I don't have a car and a bus-free commute would work best for me).

Is the area south of the MCO (Glendale Ave) safe? Any suggestions on what I could do???

South of Glendale as in what street? I'd stay away from most of the ones on Airport Hwy and Byrne. There's a few apartments on Glendale and on Heatherdowns which aren't too much further which are nice (some are a bit more expensive...when I was looking it was like 580 plus at some of em for a 1 bedroom). A couple of the ones on Glendale are about 400. You could probably get away with walking, but it would probably be a 20 minute walk (nowhere in Toledo is really easy to get to without a car, or being willing to take a bus).
