Hi everyone,

First time poster here. I'm currently in Vancouver and I'm considering moving to Toronto. I've met with some recruiters in Toronto and I haven't really gotten an answer about what the job market is like there. Some say that it's dead, others are saying that it's picking up and then there's ones who say that's it's booming. I actually never thought about moving until my girlfriend found out she got into U of T.

Any insight into what the job outlook is actually like in Toronto for a newly designated accountant?

It is definitely in a much better shape than say, in late 2008 and 2009.
I know banks are hiring again for sure.
