Here's my questions. Where's a great place to eat? Where's a great place to drink?
I would say for any occasion be it myself, with my girlfriend, or with a group of guy friends.
I'm sure everyone has their favourites. It doesn't matter if it easy to access by TTC or by car as I use both. All feedbacks are welcome.

It really depends on what you like. If you are a fan of Cantonese, Portuguese, Greek or Ethiopian cuisine, Toronto offers quite a bit. If you are into more innovate, locavore inspired cuisine Toronto is way behind other cities of either equal or lesser size.
Personally when I am in Toronto I spend alot of time eating in Markham/RH. Tanchikee, Bigmouthkee and Ambassador are my 3 favorite personally (All Cantonese). Downtown Lai Wah Heen is the best Dim Sum Restaurant I have been to outside of Hong Kong, so that is major praise for TO Cantonese scene.
For something different I like Black Hoof for Charcuterie and Offal. I just find it sad that it is the ONLY place in Toronto doing that type of food.
Nota Bene and Canoe are solid as well.
Drinking? I cant find anywhere outside of the Library Bar that makes a decent cocktail in the entire city. Sidecar used to be good until Ben (the head bartender) was wooed by a restaurant in Vancouver to run their bar program (West Restaurant- check them out if you are in Vancouver) since then they cant even make a decent Sazerac.
Personally if you stick to what Toronto is strong in then you will be pleased, but it gets really boring after a while because of the lack of any local chefs doing anything innovative or exciting.

It would help if you posted some preferences, budget, general age group. Try chowhound.com and martiniboys.com, both have good recommendations for Toronto.

I agree with the previous posters. There are literally thousands of restaurants in Toronto and the GTA. If you have specifics such as type of food, area of the city, budget etc then this forum would be more helpful ... otherwise I'd suggest using Urbanspoon, chowhound or any other restaurant review guides online which usually have reviews you can trust.

I believe it's closed, however.
