Does anyone remember that this chain used to be in this city, but is not anymore (I remember eating at it maybe ten years ago or something; it used to share buildings with Harvey's, if I am not mistaken)?
My friend from B.C loves that chain because he ate it growing up, and feels it is better than KFC or Popeyes but apparently can't find it here in Toronto (it's an American chain and I think it's only in B.C/the Vancouver area so far).
I have actually searched the net, but apparently some say it might be coming back?
A Church's Chicken outlet opened up about 6 months ago at the southeast corner of Dufferin and St. Clair. It's the only active one I know of in the city. And yes, you're right, they were once in housed in some Harvey's locations; about 15 - 20 years ago.
your friend can taste a difference between churches and popeyes?
has your friend tried A&W fried chicken? less greasy, but just as tasty...
